Discovering geological caves, I was fascinated by the beauty and the mystery resulting from the combined action of time and water. This in a context of darkness and isolation having favored a sort of germination, flowering of the stone in the form of incredible 3-dimensional structures. I quickly saw there what humans call a work of art... a metaphor for all creation, requiring time, darkness, secrecy, protection.  The slow mutation of elements organizing themselves into architectures, patterns, guided by the rigor of the forces present as much, one might say, as by a jubilant fantasy. I was there faced with a mystery revealed, a glimpse of the origins, an immense underground embryo unfolding its forms like so many genes expressing themselves in infinite variety. This violent intrusion of the gaze into underground modesty intimidates and fascinates. There was something to think about, there was something to do. And so I had the idea of ​​putting into abyss, of merging mineral evolution with the emergence of the human being as we know him today in his appearance, his history and his creations.
